Dansk El-Forbund in English
Electrician, welcome to Denmark! Remember to check up on your collective agreement.
Electricians working at Danish workplaces have a number of rights that are laid down in collective agreements. In case you work for a company, which is covered by a collective agreement, you have the same rights as your Danish colleagues. If the company does not have a collective agreement the officers in the Danish Union for Electricians will negotiate a collective agreement as soon as possible.
Who are we?
We are the trade union for electricians working in Denmark. We organise electricians working in Denmark and we are your representative and advisor about rights and possibilities on the Danish labour market. The union and our local branches negotiates your salary and assists you, if you have questions about salary, other rights and agreements, if you get injured while working or if problems arise at the working place.
Most Danes are members of an unemployment fund, which will ensure an income in the case of unemployment. You can also become a member of The Electricians Unemployment Fund when you contact the Danish Union for Electricians.
Do you have any questions?
There are a lot more rules and rights, which are not described here. In case you need to know more or have any questions please do not hesitate to contact the local branch of the Danish Union for Electricians. Telephone and email contact may be in Danish or English. We treat all inquiries confidentially.
If you wish to become a member fill out the registration form and send it to firstname.lastname@example.org.
